Scholarship Opportunities
The California Affiliate of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences is pleased to offer scholarships for a variety of educational opportunities. The scholarships are offered by our various districts and our Extended Education Fund.
The following scholarship opportunities are generally open to:
- high school graduates
- community college students
- 4-year college/university students
- graduate students
- technical school students
In addition, scholarship opportunities are also offered to FACS/home economics teachers interested in continuing their education. Please check each scholarship carefully for more information.

Grant Opportunities
Do you have an idea for a seminar, a conference, a research topic, a special activity related to FCS or a special activity related to a community problem? The Extended Education Fund (EEF) is accepting applications for grant proposals.
Grants are awarded up to $5,000 with consideration for larger amounts for projects with exceptional merit.

AAFCS Fellowships Program
